New tyres are better under braking.

they match the existing tyres giving good performance

I can't believe I've had these tyres for a year as they still look like new. Most of my mileage has been on the motorway from Southampton to Yorkshire where these tyres have been surprisingly quiet. They're still quiet now. Also, I found them to be excellent on the muddy country lanes in Yorkshire, particularly in autumn at harvest time when the roads are muddy with lots of leaves. the tyres provide a lot of confidence. After a year I'm glad I paid extra for them.

My Caravelle is an automatic, 7-speed, 204hp. The tyres were great on tarmac in good weather and when wet. The main disappointment was when driving on rough roads with loose surfaces, especially when I was towing my caravan. The combination of loose surface, powerful engine and automatic gearbox did not suit the tyres. Otherwise they were great. I had the same tyre (different size) on a Fiat 500 (manual) and the tyres were brilliant in all conditions (obviously didn't use it for towing the caravan though!).

Great no problems in all weather conditions great altogether

Doing just what i wanted

Superb, great grip and fuel consumption

Tyres are a better first choice on vehicle , better handling and very good on and off road
So far so good
I run a Range Rover Classic and its becoming more difficult to find 235/70/16 tyres, Michelin had a deal on for £40 off 4 tyres (although I have yet to see the rebate!!) I thought the tyres might be noisy given how aggressive the tread is on the outside (asymmetric tyre pattern) but no they are very civilised, grip in mud seems very good, dry/wet is grip also good, They are classed as s summer tyre, but I don't think they'll have any issues in what passes for winter in the S/E of the UK
A great purchase
I normally choose Cross Climates but I have just bought a second hand Nissan Navara and cross climates are not available in the that size. The tyre dealer had an offer on for General Tires but as I have had such a positive experience of the cross climates on my RWD van i stuck with Michelin even though they were a bit dearer. Glad i did. They look great, and they are not noisy which I must confess was a slight worry when i saw them fitted as they do look like a chunky tyre. My pick up is RWD with selectable 4WD. The only real test i’ve had with them on tricky terrain so far was towing my 1600kg trailer on wet grass. I had to stop mid way as some official in a yellow vest had to check I knew where I was going, setting off again was no bother, no need for 4WD. Be interesting to see how they handle the colder months and snow, if we get any. I’m very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend.
